Re: Credit App-Addiction Dungeon

My name is LS2982 and im an addict.

This addiction I have cannot be cured.

myFICO fuels this addiction.

I find myself promising loved ones and others "I will not app" and wait like a thief in the night when no one's around and hit that damn submit button!!! Smiley Sad

I just got approved for a firestone card people!!!! Its a horrible addiction to have!!

I've tried freezes on the reports but the inner app devil on me sits on my shoulder and says "you know you wanna do it.......just do it......so what if you get decline its ONLY an INQ no hit on your AAoA............cmon pretttty pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee!!!"

I feel like Mr. Brooks did with his alter ego egging him on.

I'm ^&*%$ up in the head man!!!!

Re: Credit App-Addiction Dungeon

I am stupid addicted! Never knew that a shinny pretty new credit card would make me all warm and fuzzy inside. I actually said a prayer that I would get a Chase Freedom, and I got approved! OMG what unnecessary ways to use the good Lord! I'm terrible. What's even more crazy is the fact that I just got a beautiful new Zync card and I never use it because I don't need it. It's burning a hole in pocket, but I know I can't spend money I don't have.

I hit my lowest point when the Barclay's rep, upon recon, said very sternly: Sir quit applying for credit. They are very sensitive to inquiries by the way.

Did I mention the recon process is so fun. The thrill of it all. Getting all nervous then getting told congrats you're approved or congrats your CL is increased by 2000. Yes I got BofA to increase me to 2000 for a 7000 total. I just got the card in May 2011!! I love the manipulation!!
