Credit Cards Experian Puller Only - BK Friendly - 625 FICO
Does anyone know of any credit accounts that fit the bill?
secured card or can go deep down the sub-prime route like credit one as they pull experian. Give it time imo as your BK is fresh. Your choices are very limited esp depending on who your burnt even makes it tougher. Just my 2 cents.
Amex is BK friendly but you'll have to wait 5+ years. I've read 5 years and 1 one month after discharge. Start checking the pre-quals. For me it was 6 years before the pre-quals started appearing and Amex was not IIB.
But as someone else said, try for secured.
My Suggestion is probably wait. I know that is hard to hear.
try to get that score up to 670-700'ish range. it will really help.
you probably really do not want Predatory Credit one?
but I listened to advice given, and it has paiid off.
Wish You The Best.
Get a few secured cards. Discover, Capital One, Open Sky.
Open Sky is no credit check and they report to all 3. Capital One and Discover may not show any preapprovals so soon out of BK but I cold app’d the secured cards with scores lower than yours and was approved.
You need payment history to start raising your scores.
I also suggest Open Sky.
You DO need to start building history. There's 2 ways to do it:
1) Open a secured card from Open Sky, Discover or Capital One and put $300 into the account. Make your payments on time and eventually you will get your $300 back and still have the credit account.
2) Open an account with a predatory lender like Credit One, Continental Finance (Verve, Surge, etc.) or 1st Premier. Pay various ongoing "fees" every month and yearly which will add up to $300+ very quickly. Never see that $300 again....
If your looking for a store card you can try Kohls. I was approved 2 months after bk and they pull Experian. Other than that Discover pulls Experian but sometimes Equifax....I think it depends on where you live. Credit One pulls Experian. Also, the Deserve card I don't know the qualifications for that card.
