It's a FAKO score. No need to pay attention to it.
My scores for example:
TU08 FICO 731
CK Transrisk 710
CK Vantage 745
USAA 771
@1hardinquiry wrote:Oh, yeah...they do. Did you click "update score" so that it showed report as of 12/21/12? Or did it say score from 01/2011?
My CK score dropped from 680 to 667 after I paid off a card!
It reports I lowered my util and raised my available credit, and it still drops my score!~?
Nothing else on the report changed.
I can't wait to update myFico TU report later today to see the increase in score because I was expecting it from CK and didn't get it! Ha!
The same thing happened to me.
FOR all of people that disagree with CREDIT KARMA FAKOS complaning etc....all you have to do is ask for REFUND
Same here!! I opened a Walmart credit card, then my score dropped 43 points!! What's up with that!!

Opening a new card will frequently drop your score, as it is a new inquiry.

43 points?!? That is a huge drop! How many total inquiries do you have? Did the Walmart card start reporting yet?
Yea its kind of hard to beleive that an inquiry costs 43 points. Mehhh....its fako anyway.

Well, it's probably more than just the inq. Give_Me_Credit_Please stated that s/he opened an account, so the score drop might have included dings for the inq, the presence of a new account, and a drop to AAoA.
But even then, I don't take CKs FAKO scores seriously, so who knows?
I do enjoy CK. Atleast there i can find info about my credit for free instead of always having to pay like here. I don't really pay attention to the score since it's FAKO but it's my favorite site to use for monitoring my credit.

+1 This is true. However, identity iq is growing on me, even though it's not free (at least $7 a month is much more reasonable than $14 at free credit report!)
