Did a thing and finally closed Credit One. The breakup was probably more me than them but I gave them 12 great months and they gave me a little (credit) history. Didn't even breakup by phone, I mailed it in. They weren't worth even 3 spoken words.
Congrats, but let's not get too carried away. They did date you when others wouldn't.
Nothing personal, I'm just always puzzled at how quickly some forget where they started.
In any case, good for you.

Be prepared for some stalking for awhile, if you are like me... they aren't taking it well and keep begging me to come back.
But also agree with @Remedios . If it wasn't for meeting the sailor of my dreams in Navy, I'd probably still be in a relationship with them for quite awhile!
@Papa_Bear Congrats on your decision -and- wishing you success on your continued credit rebuilding efforts . . . Don't close the door too hard as we never know when we may need to reopen it.
Yes . . .time to move on when it has served its purpose!!!
Congrats on closing them. I'll be closing them and a few other subprimes after my 13 discharges later on this year as well.

Good job!!!! I got rid of mine early this year. Got tired of paying $8 monthly fee for a credit card I never used.
