Credit Union -- Personal Loan

In August of 2005, I took out a personal loan to help pay off some of my debts (~$5000). While this is not an installment loan, it is revolving. My scores are in the mid 600's, and was just wondering, if I were to pay it off, resulting in a $0 balance how would my scores change?

How exactly does it show on your reports? And it might well be different on every one, so pls check.
