Out of curiosity, what is BBT?

BB&T Bank.  They're in the process of changing their name to Truist, I think through a merger.  This is their prequal link: https://www.bbt.com/offers/checkOffers

I just don't think I'd be able to procure a good sized deposit.

They let you check prequalified based on a softpull whether they will give you a unsecured card, that’s my point.

I don’t think you can get in from Arizona. I can’t remember, but I think you have to be in the southeast United States. that’s unfortunate because it would’ve been a free shot at a possibly unsecured card. I wouldn’t recommend them for a secured card, tho.
