Ahh you guys are right. I was thinking of my cap1 card. Guess I did pay $75 when I got this card (I checked the statement). And I guess it is $99AF billed monthly after 1st year (I checked cardholder agreement). Well back then I had horrible credit. Now I know and will be cancelling my card before 5/18/18 before they can hit me with an AF. Lol learn something new every day. I guess back then I was just desperate for anything amd anyone that would give me credit. But hey it served its purpose well. And that's all it was meant to do. I cant complain.
I also noticed for the first time yesterday when looking at my statement that they have a "minimum interest charge". I've never noticed this before, but that is another reason to get rid of them/never carry a balance with them.

Thats standard for all credit cards. Minimum interest charge is usually 1-2 dollars (most cc companies dont like cents)

I have a credit one card. Will be closing it as soon as I get the check for my annual fee back + 30 days.
Credit one hasn’t ever been bad to me. They don’t charge interest as long as you PIF by the statement date. Atleast that’s the case on my card.
I agree though that they are a **bleep**ty company who I can just imagine problems with. I don’t even use the card. I will be closing it before the end of the year. I just want my 75 bucks back they offered me for not closing the account at this time and I recorded it.
My CredOne charges interest from the post date. No grace period. So paying it off every month would still accrue interest. Id have to send the payment in the day I made the charge, and even then it might not make it before the first day of interest charged.
Hence I dont use mine.
My Credit One has a grace period, so long as pif by stsatement date, no interest. I also have only a $45 annual fee and no monthly fee. However, I will be closing it before the annual fee is due again, it will have served its purpose.
How many CreditOne's are you allowed to have?
Yea ive never paid any interest either because I always PIF by end of statement.
Reason why folks are mentioning interest is that for many Credit None folks.. there is NO grace period.. interest starts the moment the charge posts... But as of recent... some of Credit Nones offers are rather decent for a predatory lender... more folks seem to be getting cards with what amounts to a decent offer.. even in comparison to some prime cards .. Interestingly enough C One used to just deny folks with scores in the 700s... then they started offering folks cards !?!?!?! Know im an example of that...
Can't find the offer now but it was 18-19%, no af, has a grace period, and their 1% back thing...
Even though they are a subprime lender .. thats a better deal than some prime cards... and store cards....
Hows that for oddity...

I just responded to a pre-approved offer that I received in the mail-expiring on Dec 6th. Approved for $300. I'll take it. I have no problems with the annual fee-as long as it is just that 1 fee. Definitely better than getting a "pay-day" loan to pay on bills....here in Utah they charge 10% per week, so if I got a $200 loan for 4 weeks...$80...which would cover my annual fee.
