DCU Balance Transfers

Pertaining to this post that is locked

With DCU Balance Transfers, I know there are no transfer fees, however how soon does DCU start charging interest?

I transferred $200 from another account the other day without issue, thinking that as long as I paid it off by statement closing/due date, I wouldn't incur any interest. Now I see mention on my credit card "Pay off amount $200.05".

So I guess they start charging interest immediately?

Adding @Mahraja since I saw him mention DCU transfers in the closed thread.

Re: DCU Balance Transfers

I believe the only time it isn't immediate is when they offer promo BT in beginning of year.

Usually all non-promo balance transfers, from all institutions, start incurring interest immediately.
