SO I HAVE A DISCOVER IT AND THE STATEMENT CUTS TOMORROW. ITS AT A ZERO BALANCE, BUT I DID USE IT ALL MONTH AND THEN JUST PAID IT OFF. WHAT I WAS WONDERING SHOULD I HAVE A BALANCE REPORT SINCE IT IS NEW? I ALREADY ONLY HAVE 1 CARD REPORTING A BALANCE EVERY MONTH (ITS CARRYING A BALANCE BUT IM PAYING IT DOWN) SO IS IT FINE TO JUST HAVE IT REPORT 0 ALL THE TIME OR LET SOMETHING REPORT SINCE ITS NEW?? THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Its up to you. My discover is about to turn 1 year old in june and i has never reported a balance.
have you gotten any auto cli's? we all know discover is very much YMMV, but there have been some recent threads on here debating if its more about usuage or balance activity. i do both but usually let it cut w/ some balance and have gotten 2 auto cli's over 9 months
Discover seems to like statement balances from what I gathered by the posts. If I am wrong, please somebody tell me. I will be applying soon
Discover likes to see balances reporting. If you want CLI's from Discover, then always let a balance report.
Im not one who believes in this but Ive had my card 6 months and have carried a balance every month and already recieved 2 auto clis. So not sure but it's worked for me.
I receive auto CLIs even though I don't carry a balance and I PIF before the statement cuts.
I'm cringing at the all caps lol. I've read that discover likes to see a reported balance and then PIF for good CLIs.
