Thus far I haven't seen anything to make me worry and I really hope nothing happens or it may take 90 days to make it right. My scores are F8 EQ 774, TU 766 and EX 770 really hate to see them tank.
what happened? did they charge an annual fee to an account you had closed?
3/6, 5/12, 14/24
Well, 90 days look to be a lot. Cap1 is the most costly place to get CC (cost in terms of 3x inquiries vs the other places) while one may also expect 3x better and faster quality. You may follow-up to fix the issues faster at their end (maybe 3x faster?). Anyway, from your initial post, it is not clear what the exact issue is while 90 days of bad credit can hurt. You may follow-up with them to do their works faster and conclude this issue within 30 days

I had a similar thing happen with cap 1 about 20 years ago. i had 6 cards with them and one had an annual fee. it was at zero balance so i didnt pay attention to it. a few months past the annual fee due date cap 1 sends me a letter in red bold print that i am 3 months past due and i owe the fee plus late charges for the 3 months plus interest. in addition they had a 90 day late on my reports.
now the good news,
i called them and said it was an oversight on my part and the card had a zero balance for months and i forgot it. cap 1 reduced the amount owed to the actual annual fee and removed the 90 day late from my reports.
i had 6 cards with them because they bought other banks, at one time i had 7 cards with them.
