Denial of a CLI from American Express 62 days

Hello,

Have any one been denied from American Express a CLI ( 62 days) because of a BK 2006.

Today I applied for a CLI and was deniedl it said because of a BK.  My initial line of credit was $10,000. 62 days old

Many are denied due to bankruptcy from obtaining an Amex.

Just wait till next year, and try again.

I was denied about 6 months ago too, told me that my total available CLs were pretty much sufficient for my income (which i agree) - I didnt "need" the CL and i guess i applied "just because"

My Amex has pretty much been SD'd now - My 0% is over and the APR is my highest by far at 19.9%, I am enjoying the 0% and similar level of protections etc from my other cards - which are more widely accepted
