About 9 months ago I applied for the Amex Zync card before they discontinued it. Was denied. 
Finished cleaning up the baddies on my CR and got my scores way up. Today I got a Pre-Selection package in the mail for th Amex Premier Rewards Gold Card with 50,000 membership rewards points.
July 2013 score: EQ FICO 819, TU08 778, EX "806 lender pull 07/26/2013
Goal Score: All Scores 760+, Newest goal 800+

EQ:809 TU 777 EX 790 Now it's just garden time!
June 2017 update: All scores over 820, just pure gardening now.

Haven't made up my mind yet. Would be nice to have, but holding to my policy of only applying for credit if I need it. And I just don't need any right now. I've got more than enough to get me in trouble.
