It told me my Discover More card wasn't eligible so I tried again and it allowed me to sign up...

I have a Motiva and i was able to signup no problem this morning, if i go out shopping black friday, then within 2 months we'll see if it worked.... lol.

You're spending in rotating and bonus categories don't count towards the 3k you have to push through the discover card to get %1 cashback. It's a tiered percentage system.

Also if you're not aware you can stack the % a hypothetical scenario is you buy a $100.00 online through a shop Discover merchant whose deal is %10 and you make this purchase on 11/23/12.

You would get
%5(online purchase)
+ %10(shop Discover merchant deal)
+ %2(11/23/12)
for a total of %17 cashback

($17.00 cashback on a $100.00 purchase)

So long as you're signed up for both promotions.
