Someone please explain the following (i have never missed a payment on any card - just the darn Med CA (unpaid) and the released tax lien) so  would be:

You are considered to have Excellent Credit if you pay all your bills on time and never miss payments

AH, OKAY - let me out of SleighCenter... not!!!

It will be there at the end of the year (I hope)

no missed payments and i med collection on ex only from '02 pif '06. same question as lady.

Okay, let me preface this with...

I met with my builder today.  I will not close on my house until at least early September.  In my mind I'm thinking, I have a few days to get in under the 6 month rule.

So I came home and app'd the Discover.  It's obvious Citi isn't going to do anything for me at the moment, and this is the only other card I really want.  Not enough time has passed with Chase as of yet.

I GOT IT!  Instant approval for 3.9 intro rate on the More Card w/ a fixed 15.99 APR.  I have NO idea of the CL, but let's see!  (I asked for the 0% intro rate w/ fixed between 12 and 18.)  I was impressed that they came back with a counter-offer. 

So..  this is the 2nd creditor I've been able to scoop in my adult credit life part deux.  (The first was Cap1, I know, no great feat there.)

ETA:  Thanks to you, too, Fused!  My CL is 1100.  I'll take it!
