Discover Cashback Match Expiration Date?

I applied for my discover last year on September 1st.  My closing statement date is every 21st of the month.  What day will the Cashback Match period end?  Will it end on September 1st which would be 1 year after I applied?

This is what it says in the app: We'll match all the cash back rewards you've earned on your credit card from the day your new account is approved through your first 12 consecutive billing periods or 365 days, whichever is longer, and add it to your rewards account within two billing periods

The good thing about Disco's setup is that you if you time it right, you can get 10% (5% + cashback match) in the same category twice. DW purposely app'd for hers in November so we could use the Amazon, Walmart.com, and Target.com category for Christmas shopping 2 years in a row.

Ok so based on what is stated is it will end at the end of this billing cycle.

I would recommend looking at your statements but if your 1st statement was a partial on September 21st then your 12th statement probably just cut on August 21st in which case you will have until September 1st.

And if you want to be 100% sure, why not just give them a call. Customer service is great!!!!!!
