Discover IT

Broke out of the garden, I'll be heading back there ASAP, but applied for a discover IT.  I received a notice that my application was received but , "Please allow up to 30 days for your application to be processed."

So has anyone had an approval come after this?  I was thinking of calling the Recon team tomorrow.

I'm hoping not to have wasted a hard pull on my report.

Re: Discover IT

From what I've read on here, the 30 day message from discover usually means flat out denial, and I've also read that they really aren't open to a recon if it is a flat out denial. I hate to burst your bubble with that, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.Smiley Happy

Re: Discover IT

The initial message said I would receive something in 3-5 days but the email said 30.  Well , if it is, it is.  I just need to stay in the garden for 6 months and no apps.

Fingers crossed good luck i'm pulling for you

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Discover IT

When I applied for my Discover card, I had an empty credit history and received a similar message to yours. I called in and asked if there was anything I could do to move the application forward. They asked me some verification questions and then approved me. All hope is not lost Smiley Happy
