Discover It Card Credit Line

I recently signed up for a Discover It card and received a $800 credit line. I then received a Chase Freedom card with a $2000 credit line. I've called Discover 5 times to try to get them to match Chases' offer for me and they won't do it!!! Has anyone else ever had this issue? Should I keep calling until I get the increase? Thanks!

I wouldn't bother.  Just use the card wisely, let it age, and you will get automatic CLI's.  Discover's pretty good with that.

As far as I know, you have to wait at least 90 days to be considered for a credit limit increase with Discover.

@Jbb2788: Just out of curiousity and if your don't mind sharing, what were your EX and EQ scores when you applied for both and do you have any derog's on your CR?

As far as I know, you have to wait at least 90 days to be considered for a credit limit increase with Discover.

Correct 3 months for Discover

Discover won't cli ya initially.
Consensus is to wait 90 days.
They do auto clis too. This card is slow and steady.
