How many statements have you had in those 13 months? They didn't unsecure mine until a few days (maybe a week) after my 12th statement cut - so count your statements.

Discover is so bi-polar when it comes to credit. You could flip a coin and have a better UW process then them. I have had the it secured for quite some time. Its the only secured card I am holding on to because I do want to have a relationship with Discover. Do I think this card will ever un secure "NO" do I really care "NO" its really more annoying then anything. I put a lot of spending through that card. They are really only taking away from their business in my eyes because now my Chase and Barclay are going to see all of that spending and I will probably just SD Discover until they decide I'm worthy.

Weird. I applied for a discover card and got denied. Was offered the option to apply for the discover it card. Which I did at 596 Fico score per discovers first statement. Limit was $800 then bumped up to $1000 in three months. $1200 for the six month period. Took sixteen months to get 9G limit.Fico score was 675 at that time. I feel the same way with my capital one secured card with $800 limit that will not graduate.

Your scores qualify for a regular discover.I wonder why they haven't unsecure you yet.What scores are they looking for?

I have 14 statements.My next one is in 2 days.They said they will do an account review on the next one which is in 2 days.I have 0 balance. 1200 credit line.Perfect payment history.My fico is now 655.I hope it unsecures this time. Once it unsecures,how long do you have to wait to ask for a credit limit increase?

I think discover likes to see scores at or above 660 to unsecure.

You could have a chance at it unsecuring. But kind of like what the replies have shown, ymmv.
