Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Discover seems to be extending liberal credit lines via their IT card right now to people with moderate - good credit.  I've read this from multiple sources online.  If you're looking for a good card with great perks and need a good CL, I'd definitely apply for the IT card now.

 

Just some more info... I applied a few days ago and they pulled my EQ report which is also consistent with what I've read.

Nice, I have a tax lien (federal) and a LVNV collections account both coming off soon. Should boost my EQ nicely. I am applying for the IT when they both drop off.

I got this card with a 640 eq score  2 bad old things I cleared up and a credit history of only a capital one secured card. I did have a yr worth of good payments on my secured with no balance. I also got this card after my cap one cash rewards which didnt show up but dropped my score  to 640 and they gave me a 1700 cl. ymmv tho
