I recently got a change in terms for my Open Road card in the mail. One change I like, another I do not.
They are changing the bonus categories from gas and auto related purchases to gas and restaurant purchases. Since there is a $100 cap each month, and most of my auto expenses cost way more, I was happy about this.
The other is that they are changing the structure from 5% on the first $100, to 2% on the first $250. If you max it out each month, this doesn't matter. If you don't, but normally spent at least $100 a month, you're losing out.
Sneaky sneaky.
Also, they are changing their late fee to $40, fwiw.
