Id also like to see a secondary set of datapoints... Who, on graduation got a CLI.. (dont care of the amount) and what your TU score was..

And also Who, on graduation, did NOT get a CLI, and what their TU FICO was ...

Thinking there may have been a policy change..

Those are some excellent questions. I have seen a few members reporting a CLI at graduation to $2k from various smaller deposit limits.

Maybe I will start a master thread for Discover secured graduations? I can come up with a template of data points for everyone to share. How do these questions look? Are there any I should add?

FICO & Bureau Pulled At Approval?

Baddies Reporting At Approval?

Did You Add Additional Funds To CL, & If So, When?

Did You Notice Any Soft Pulls On Any CR Before Graduation?

Got played by discover when I clicked the CLI button and it asked me to verify my device. Got excited then it went back to the standard gotta give more to get more line. Payment due on 1st with statement cut on 5th. Will see. Dang anxiety and the new Fico update to 716 got me going. Lol

Semi update:

Discover card TU score dropped by 17 points, now I am at 611 due to my overall UTL.

-Paid $200 to lower UTL.
-Current balance is $70
-Overall UTL is pretty high 70% so I am not expecting my card to graduate this month
-2 lates that are almost a year old
-No collections
-2 new accounts that pulled EQ in the beginning of December.

Today my 7th statement cuts. I’ll update in a few days. Good luck everyone.

I'm going to add myself to this thread.
My Disco isn't set to graduate for awhile. But, it seems like tracking data points on the way to graduation might be helpful.

Mine graduated a few months ago and still no CLI. I maxed the 2.5k limit deposit on opening. My TU was the worst score with one baddie that fell off a few days ago, but their last pull still has it at 678 so I’m guessing they based it on that. Will try a CLI next month upon disco’s update of my report on their system and will check back here.

My 7th statement hit on Saturday and just checked my account and it unsecured. $200 initial deposit and now a $2000 CL. Hot dang. No email yet but a 10x upgrade is sweet. Rebuilding works. Wonder when that next CLI occurs. Lol

My secured card graduated right after the 7th statement cut. My deposit was $2500 at account opening, and it graduated as $2500 CL. But I have received 2 CLI's since then - one ($500) after 10th statement cut, and the second one ($1100) after the 11th statement cut bringing my current CL to $4100. My 12th statement will cut next week and will see what that brings. Both the CLI's were DD (double dipped) - online CLI and calling them the same day to get some more.

My observation on CLI after Disco secured card graduation has been that you will have to wait for 3 statements after graduation. That was the case with me as well as a few other cases I have read here in the forum. That's also in line with the unsecured cards CLI criteria where you are eligible for your first CLI only after your 3rd statement cut.
