@RobertK Little confused. Discover doesn't generally graduate cards before the 7th ish statement. So has it really only been three months or is that a typo?

If thats not a typo it hasn't graduated bc its way too early to expect that. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Re: Discover Secured Graduation?

After blowing my chances with a Wells Fargo secured card in 2016/17, I was approved for my Discover Secured card  in May of 2018. Almost three years ago exactly. Opened it with $500. A few months in I called and asked if I could deposit an extra $500 just so my credit score wasn't such a roller coaster ride. Graduated after the 7 month mark and it was an awesome feeling getting that email. They sent me my $1,000 back and in turn gave me a $1,750 CL. That card is now a Discover it Cash Back card with a $4,500 CL and while I don't use it a whole lot these days, I am thrilled I was able to start building my credit up with their card. This whole "graduation" process really instilled a sense of accomplishment and that helped me finally build my credit responsibly.

So, to those who are where I was a few years back, keep it up!!  Also, if you can swing an extra deposit do it. I am assuming this helped with getting my initial $1750 CL.
