Discover secured card question

Just received my discover secured card today. When I applied I initially only deposited $200. I would like to add more but for the life of me, I can't figure out how.

It's really stupid but I'm pretty sure it has to be requested and approved first. You still have to request a credit line increase and if approved, you can add money. In the past, adding money on wasn't even an option with Discover. If you ask me, this way is stupid too 🤷

"At this time, we can only take credit line increase requests for Discover IT® Secured Credit Card accounts by phone. Please call us at 1-800-347-3085 to request a credit line increase.

Please note:

• You are only eligible to apply for a credit line increase after you receive your first monthly statement.
• You will need an additional security deposit to match any credit line increase we approve. Please have your bank information ready when you call us."
