Do Amex Combine CLs?

I have the BCE, with an $8k limit - Im wondering if i got the new Everyday card, would they combine CLs and close out my BCE?

You can request a transfer of a credit limit (all or part) from a card that is 13 months or more old.   Sometimes they will insist that the card getting the CL is at least 60 days old but there have been a number of exceptions to this.

They can also refuse to transfer
