I don't see why people would get so many, I dunno personally I would want to build up my rewards or cash back in large sums quickly, even if you spent $10,000 a month on credit cards the points miles or cash back would build up sooooo slow..........

Having points/rewards spread across soo many CCs is akin to the finance guy at the car dearship "playing the spread" with CRs.

You might want to keep one gas card. I read on CreditKarma your auto insurance score is better if you have at least one gas card.
