They make money from swipe fees every time you use it. Don't worry about them not making any money haha. They just aren't making any money off of you. They don't care as long as you use it.

Apply for the card you want. Switching cards is difficult when it involves different annual fees, and may require a wait of up to 13 months from what has been reported by others on these forums.
