No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Some MYFICOers have dozens of credit cards from various issuers. However along with the high number of cards I also see low limits on each card.
Which begs the question how many have higher than 5000 CLs with more than 15 cards?

So you mean 15+ cards with $5K CL or above or 15+ accounts with some $5K CL or above peppered in?
Nixon hmmmm didn't even think of that. Just 15+ accounts with average limits of 5000.
its actually pretty easy to accomplish wiTh decent scores and income. i have all 24 of my cards 10k or higher.

Over what period of time did it take you to accumulate 24 cards?

+1. The trick is less inquiries, higher score/good profile, a decent income and you are in.
I have 14 open cards with an average of almost $10k, but they range from $500 to $20k.
I agree that once one reaches a certain point, it becomes easier, although at that point, the person usually doesn't need the extra credit amounts.
That's the problem with credit: When you think you really need it, you probably can't get it (early in life) but when you can really get it, you don't often need it (later in life).
about 3 years. i started getting serious about my credit profile around that time. high limits begats high limits
I have fifteen cards with a total of seven having a limit of 5k or higher. Hover over my signature to see my limits. I have fifteen inquiries within the past year on both EQ/TU and nine on EX. All of these cards were obtained within the past year (expect for the Capital One QS1 which is very old).
