Re: Do you have one from each of the Big Four?

Warehouse Clubs (aka Costco and BJ's sometimes only take ONE network of card because they negotiate a preferrred interchange rate for exclusivity)...

I.E Costco only takes Visa not MC, at one point BJ's only took Discover .....

+1

Up until earlier this year, Sam's Club didn't take Visas in club, but now they take all of 'em in store and online.

Why do you want the Venture WEMC?  aside from the $400 bonus, you are using 3 inquiries and you would basically need to spend over 12k a year for the card to really be sustainable after year one.  Why not the double cash? Or quicksilver wemc at least?

I should have said Upcoming...Maybe Smiley Happy I'm still on the fence on a few.

For the Venture: Primarily for the bonus. Also might try a two-fer and get the QS as well, then after the bonuses/6 months, merge the CL into just the QS.

I'd thought about the Double Cash, but there are a couple of Thank You points cards I'm considering if they offer a good bonus since they have the best transfer rate to a couple of airlines I want to fly.

So many cards, so little time Smiley Tongue

Re: Do you have one from each of the Big Four?

I have another good reason for folks to carry Amex esp abroad .. even with its limited acceptance..... AMEX does not allow DCC....

Another sort of questionable "service" that both MC/VISA allow... and in some places they do not oblige the regulations for requiring to "choose DCC"

(cough China)

BUT.. the do have a Forex Fee / FTF .....

I feel a little embarrassed because I have no clue what my APRs are, so I had to look them up. I haven't carried a balance in years. Smiley Wink

My Disco limit grew from $6000 in 4/15 to its current limit in 08/16. 20.94% rate (down from 22.94%).

DC was originally $9.5k. I took the HP for a CLI (never got SP language) and asked for $30k. I'm apparently still in the 0% APR range, but will go up to the 19.24% in January.

My lowest rates are on my Chase Freedom (14.49%) and C1 QSV (currently at 0% for however many months then 13.24%).

Re: Do you have one from each of the Big Four?

I have exactly 4 major credit cards and the 4 make up the Big Four as the OP puts it.  I don't have any duplicates at all as in 2 Visa's, etc; I have 1 of each which works fine for me.

Whoa, that's a ridiculous bump for an HP CLI. I should be getting my DC in the mail today. I've always been opposed to wasting HPs for CLIs but I might make an exception for Citi. Probably not right away, but I feel like I've got to roll the dice on it.

Re: Do you have one from each of the Big Four?

I have one of each. If you prefer Chase's categories over IT's, then go with Chase. One of the benefits IT has over Chase is the double cash back for the first year. If you find the categories don't work for you then it's not a big deal just app for the card that fits your spend/lifestyle. Good luck!
