Does BB&T Truist use Fico 8 or Fico 9 when applying for credit cards?

Does BB&T Truist use Fico 8 or Fico 9 when applying for credit cards? Just curious because my Fico 8 EQUIFAX score is wayy better than my Fico 9 EQUIFAX score
