Does Walmart email you a link to credit decision?

I just got an email claiming that I could check my application status online, but the email just doesn't look professional enough. Well, it's really what I expect from Walmart, but, I don't want to enter a scam site by accident. Has anyone else received an email with a link to check status?

Current Cards: Cap 1 Journey $3000, Cap 1 Playstation $2250, WFNNB Store Cards $2450 combined, Target $700, CareCredit $1700, Barclay Rewards Plat. Mastercard $1800, Old Navy $300, DCU Platinum Rewards Visa $2000, Swagbucks Rewards Visa $1000

Starting Score: 615 EQ (03-15-2012) 600 TU (03-21-2012 Barclays app) ) Ch.7 discharged 5/2009

Current Score: 671 EQ (09-27-2014 DCU) 660 TU (9/26/14 Barclays) Ex 688 (10/07/2014 Swagbucks)

Not sure if they have an app status website, but I did find this:

 

Check the Status of Your Application

To check on the status of your credit card application, please call 1-877-969-3668. If your application has been approved, you will receive you Wal-Mart Discover or Wal-Mart Credit Card in the mail in approximately 7-10 business days.

Alright, figured it out. Yes, they do have a site, declined, but, yes they do have a site.

I received the e-mail approx 5days after sipping and was denied- only reason stated was CH 7 BK. I guess I will wait a long while to app again.

@Repo I haven't heard of anyone able to successfully recon a GE denial. I don't think they do recons.
