Hmmm.... Now it appears we only have half a denial lol
The age of the charge offs seems like the most logical. I wouldnt think that adding more new accounts would change it.
@everyone,
Obviously, I'm new to the Boards. they have been very helpful. It appears that I have been communicating about the wrong card. I thought the Discover card was called the Duck card. I did some research and I believe the Duck card is Oregon Community Credit Union or something like that? I apologize for jumping in and hyjacking this thread. I was approved for the Discover card today, not the Duck card. Anyways, I still give a shout out to Ravensfan2001 for giving me the courage to hit submit again.
LOL
Well, congrats are still in order for your approval for the Discover It card.
Now we have 0 denials.
@12njoy: Was it the Discover card also that you app'ed for back in August by mistake? My profile: scores are EQ fico-699, EX fico-669, TU fico-704. 1 CC CO (Cap 1) and 3 public records-ALL PAID--current util about 6%, 8 new TL's from mid Aug. to mid Sept. but no lates in at least the last 7 years.
@credit-hoarder,
Yes I app'd for Discover card on August 6th and was denied and approved today for the $6,500. How old is your public records?
@DiabolicallyRandom,
Thank you. The Duck card seems to have great rates.
I busted out of the garden a month early to apply for this on Friday 10/11. Applied online, got the 7-10 day message, went thome, got drunk... (j/k)
Got an Identity Guard alert that they pulled Equifax (3 INQs past year)
This morning had VMs on my cell and work phone from 855-604-3243. Called them back, they wanted to verify my address and confirm some lines on my report.
Approved for $12,000 line, should get the card in 7-10 days!
BK 7 Discharged April 2010 | Current Lines: OCCU Duck Visa $12,000 | Alliant FCU Platinum Visa, $15,000 (25% util, opened 5/2013) | Barclays iTunes Visa $6000 ( 1% util, opened 11/2011) | Best Buy MC $800 (0% util, opened 5/2010, not reporting due to changeover from Cap 1). Congrats! It looks like they are bankruptcy friendly as well.
@12njoy: My derogs (PR's) range from 2 to 6 years. 2 of them fall off in a little less than a years from now. Discover gave you an excellent CL. They only gave me $1400 back in Aug. but I was d**n glad to have the card b/c it was my first prime card since my rebuild. Are you going to try for the Duck Card also now that you have Discover?
