JFCU rep called me and told me that I can have combined total limit of

40000 for loc and credit card.He asked me how much do I want?

I told him 10000 dollars for credit card and 30,000 dollars for lOC.

I am approved for both and it is showing up on my account

plus I am getting NSA card they swicthed it from VISA classic to NSA card

I guess it was worth the wait.

Congrats on your success, ash!  I know you had been frustrate by JFCU's delay, but I'm glad it was worth the wait.

maybe the total cap w/o 6 moths history was overidden because of a supervisor setting up you account. i very happy for you, but so jealous. congrats!

question though. why not do max 25k on nsa visa and take the rest as loc?

You might be right it took them 5 days to set up the account so I guess they approved

me for that account and you are right supervisor set up my account.

both are revolving accounts, but the nsa visa has a 6 month promo rate of 6.99 % and the loc is 12.5% no promo. i also subscribe to the bigger limits beget higher limits motto., so i would want other cc's to try and match that 25k on a visa. lastly, just the ability to have 25k on me w/o carrying a check book.

Yeo it does make sense. I applied for checking so they are giving me debit card

so I dont need checks I can acces LOC through debit card.

I did not know about the card rate. I never have any balance on my credit cards.

Should I call them anyway?

which visa did you get, nsa or jfcu plat? the plat has a lower rate after the intro is over. will you use the checking as you main account?
