With my recently acquired United Explorer card, I can earn 50,000 bonus miles after spending $2,000 in the first 3 months. But what happens if I change my due date lengthening one of those statement cycles? Of course it could be that Chase simply goes by the calendar, I don't know. I could call their customer service, but might run into someone who might not know for sure and prefers to err on the side of caution by suggesting for me to wait changing the due date, not just after I have spent the $2,000, but all the way past the first 3 months.
i dont have answer for your question lol. However, i just opened united explorer card too, i thought we only get 30k after 1000$? how can i get 50k miles?![]()

"Hey, can I ask what you sent them to get the 50k? Because I just got this card the other day and would love to get 50k instead of 30k haha."
"just tell them you found out about the 50k offer and you would like to have that sign up bonus instead."
Chase United Explorer Approved!!!!
The 50K is a targeted offer (either through snail mail or your MP account). You can go into a branch and they will probably give you the 50K sign up bonus.

send a secure message and ask for it.
3 month's is still 3 month's.
The amount of time is from acquisition date.

If you want the screen shot of the 50K miles for a peace of mind, PM me and i'll give it to you.
Follow-up. I had spent the $2,000 already three weeks into the second monthly billing cycle, prompting its statement to post the 50,000 signup points. That's the good news.
The bad news is that, contrary to account information brought to me online whenever logged in, this cycle overnight cut its statement date three days sooner than expected!
I had requested my due date to take place six days earlier in the month, and maybe that's why. The statement date after all isn't protected by the credit card law reform dealing with such stuff as due date and grace period?
