I cant even generate a fico score yet but i have been approved for 5 comenity cards, only 2 hardpulls. The shopping cart trick never worked for me. I applied for the first card, got 7-10 day notice, then got a letter to call them to verify some info. Before i called them I applied for 2 other cards. When i called to verify my info I also asked about the other apps and the rep took care of all 3, one hard pull & 2 soft. Waited a few months and did the same thing.

YMMV. IMO, VS is one of the easiest, but many aren't able to get it. Any of the Blair stores are probably fairly easy. However, it seems some that easily pop up for some members never pop up for other members.

thanks for the imput on this matter and i appreciate all the responses. I just think my scores arent high enough to trigger a pop up so it'll probably be best to improve my scores and try back later down the road.

That's very likely. Their easiest cards tend to approve in the upper 500s and low 600s. I'd definitly suggest posting over at the "Rebuilding" boards for any help on working with credit issues. You can definitely make big credit improvements! I know I have been helped a lot there.

Yes, VS is supposedly one of the easiest to obtain with the shopping card trick. I have a couple of Comenity cards. I've been able to get pop ups for most of them.

For some reason the one I've never been able to get the pop up for the VS. Talk about irony.

Same. Can't get it to pop up. But I just requested my reports and I see pulls for other Comenity stores, but not VS at all...So maybe it's me?

Sportsman's guide was easiest..And JCrew..The others (hsn, buckle, etc) soft pulled me and gave me nothing
