Re: Easy money, you can too.

So essentially anyone can open this card as long as they pay the 75AF right? Are there any other restrictions like the BofA travel privileges?

Yes, my mistake.  On my BoA page it says:

As a Platinum Privileges client, you have access to the rewarding BankAmericard Privileges® credit card with Cash Rewards

What it doesn't say is that non-PP clients also have access with exactly the same terms!

Re: Easy money, you can too.

The card worth the AF if you spend a lot and have any BofA bank account.

I just open a regular saving and put minimum of $300 to not have fee. When I get cash back I redeem it and transfer it out to my Chase.

But again, compared to what?  If you spend all $6,000 on gas, you get back $180+ $90 bonus = $270.  Minus the fee that's a gain of $195 per year, + 1.5% on all spending

With the Fidelity Amex, the $6,000 on gas earns $120, leaving $75 to make up with the extra 0.5%, so an extra $15K spend puts Amex ahead (and this is the best case for BoA).  And other combinations, such as PenFed and Quicksilver, do much better.

Not to say that this is a bad card, but you should always take opportunity costs into account (e.g. "this card more than earns its annual fee, but does it net more than another card that I can reasonably expect to get?")
