Estimated times for New CC's to report?

Im trying to figure out when my new cc's will hit reports.

WF received on 6/16 and it started reporting on 6/21.

Cap1 took a couple months to start reporting

New cards:

Walmart Discover approved 9/10...made an online purchase that day for $20 off and started reporting on 9/12

Chase Amazon Visa - It hasnt started to report yet (maybe I should use it online to bump it some???)

ZYNC - not reporting yet (Should get card soon)

Amex Delta - they had hiccup and just generated number today...probably week or so from getting card

So when can I expect to have these new cards start reporting? Should I charge something small to Amazon to start the clock on that one?

How soon does AMEX report? (I want to confirm backdated goodness!)

Re: Estimated times for New CC's to report?

Your walmart card will probably report within 2-3 days of approval, GECRB is very fast. Chase and Amex will definitely report faster than cap1, cap1 is ridiculous, but as I have neither a chase nor amex card I can't speak for exactly how long it will take.

Re: Estimated times for New CC's to report?

From what I remembered reading was that cards typically started reported either 3 to 4 days after the first charge or the first statement being cut.

Not sure.

Chase usually starts reporting a few days after your first statement cuts.

Alliant CU (12/11, $12.5k); Chase Freedom (3/12, $3.3k); Discover IT (7/12, $30.5k); American Express Blue Cash Preferred (10/13; $26k); Capital One Venture (3/15; $24k)

Re: Estimated times for New CC's to report?

My Amex cards reported after the statement cut. The Wally one was I think a week before and I don't know exactly the date but I do remember the Citi Cards were the very first ones to hit my reports. Either way, I suppose you won't apply soon so there's no rush. Unless TU impedes it, you should have them all reporting in about a month - 2 weeks depending on the closing date.

Re: Estimated times for New CC's to report?

Im curious what they will do to score when hit and want to make sure Amex is properly backdated. Although, if backdated correctly my AAoA would not had taken a hit at all. My AAoA was 10.1 before adding 4 cards. The two Amex cards if backdated correctly to 1993 will mean a zero change to AAoA Smiley Wink I could app for another ex or TU product as only 2 inq on them Smiley Wink
