So i have had an account with Bestbuy mastercard next month will be a year. I ask for a cli, get denied. The limit is $300(crap)then they charge a fee of $59(lol) mid next month. So my balance has shown $0 for the last few months u would think they would try something. So i tried to cancel my card and it became a nightmare, it was so easy before to get ahold of someone before i wanted to fire my card and then the transfering to different people started and then i also got hungup on numerous times. I feel like they were trying to pull a fast 1 on me, they didn't even try and say hey i will try and do something since your a good customer and never a late, but i got nothing. Just wanted everyone on this forum to know what i went threw with this place and maybe save u the trouble.
Sounds like a tough experience, and I sympathize (just got denied a CLI by BoA despite only one 30-day late in 7 yrs with them, and that more than 3 years ago, and despite having the Barclaycard with 4x the limit and having a 6-digit income).
Don't burn your bridges, though. The BestBuy Mastercards are managed by CapitalOne, and while not the best for giving CLIs they are still a helpful stepping stone on the credit rebuilding path. You just need to think of them as more of a way to add depth to your credit report than as a place to grow your limit rapidly.
Apart from the BestBuy MC, what other active tradelines do you have? And do you know your FICO score?
If the MC is your only tradeline, you might want to apply for a couple of other rebuilder cards known to be more generous with initial credit lines or with periodic CLIs (e.g. Walmart, Barclaycard if your score is in the right range) to make your credit file a bit less thin.
Let us know your answers to the questions above and we can probably steer you in the right direction.

Naw the r my bottom barrel cards and im trying to get rid of the cards that wont grow with me. I have some good lenders and im trying to get higher limits. Any cards that wont give me increases that r toy limits will get fired, my next cards r my first premier and credit1. My fico ex is 666 and my fico tu is 671 but im currently paying down my debt which will increase my score some. Some cards r royal carib 12k, boa rewards $1500, mets $2400, citi diamond 3k, amazon visa $1350.
That being the case, sounds like this card is one to cancel. The limit is too small relative to your other limits to have a meaningful impact on utilization, and if it's just now hitting the 1-yr anniversary, it's not likely to impact your average age of accounts significantly. Kick 'em to the curb!
I'm curious. How do you know your EX is 666? Where did you get that score?

It's obvious where he got a score of 666 from, clearly the source of any score like that must be the devil! (He probably got it from lender pull.)
Definitely a lender pull!!

Whoops typo sorry it was equifax not experian from fico.
Your card is most likely issued by HSBC (now capital one)...I recommend contacting the executive office....I am sure you can get them to wave the annual fee and also consider giving you a credit limit increase. I have sent you a PM with a contact info....good luck and keep us posted.
