So I decided to cold app for a First National Bank of Omaha Platinum Edition Visa because everyone that I know who has one has CL of about $15000-25000. My mom has one with a 22k limit.
Well I was approved but only with a $1500 CL.
I'm happy, and I know it will grow with time. But I still plan to call in when I receive the card and recon for a higher CL.
But now I am NOT going to app for anything until this time next year at least. My inq's are now 5 EX, 5 EQ, and 6 TU. Two of the TU's are from apping for my auto loan. 2 EQ's are for a cell phone, and all the rest are CC's.
