So I just finished an app spree today for 3 cards which I will discuss in another thread shortly. I was approved for all 3 cards and now I'm considering trying for a 4th and final card before the day's end.
As you've probably deduced from the title of the thread, I'm wanting the FNBO Ducks Unlimited (EX pull).
Before the spree i had only EQ/2 inquiries....
After the spree today my inquiries now look like this:
EQ/2 TU/2 EX/1
At the start of the day my FICO across the board was at 765.
One of my approval cards today was an EX pull......knowing that FNBO is a bit conservative anyway, I'm wanting some opinions on the chances of pulling off this Ducks app tonight. Should I sit back and enjoy the spoils of my other 3 cards, or is this worth giving a shot? I'm not sure if they give instant approvals or not, or if they do manual reviews.....and I'm not sure if Ducks is so sensitive that a single EX pull would trigger bad news. (especially since it is a same-day pull...)
Either way, I am going to be gardening for about 2 years after this. So do I take a shot and burn one more EX pull (win or lose) and push my luck, or do I reduce my risks and wait it out for the Ducks? Anyone with experience with these FNBO cards that could offer me some advice?
Note: (Barclays Uber disclaimer mentions that it does not care for "gaming" and those types of behaviors so I do have a concern that they could retroactively take my card back if they somehow took notice of the new accounts today and deemed it as excessive. I am certainly not gaming.....these do all have a specific role in my CB lineup, I just decided to get them all at one time to keep the average ages together.)
Edited: Since time was running short this evening (9:30pm EST), I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger on this card. Approval! I will be posting all of my DP's on the CC Approvals thread for all 4 cards.
@UncleB - Since this was a time-sensitive post, you may feel free to remove it if you deem necessary since I will be posting in the approvals thread.
This is a tough one... FNBO is known to be conservative, but it's not like you've "gone crazy" with apps so you might do just fine.
They are one of the few larger lenders I have no experience with so I'm hesitant to make a suggestion either way; hopefully some members with FNBO-specific knowledge will come along and offer their wisdom.

Congrats on the approval!
