I am unsure if anyone has posted about this, but Alliant has discontinued the Platinum Rewards Visa, which is the 2% cash back, no annual fee card that I have from them. I discovered this today when I logged in to request a CLI online. I guess this card has not been profitable for them, because the other cards they have now are the basic Platinum and the Visa Signature. The Signature only offers 1.5% cash back if you don't eeet the extra requirements to get the higher tier of cash back (which is 2.5%). I am not sure if they will start to transition some of us into the Signature card or not.
