Just wanted to pass this bit of information along to the US Bank card customers. I just received my monthly statement in the mail yesterday. In it, they stated that they are planning on closing "long term inactive cards". They state, " If your US Bank Visa Debit or ATM card has not been used within the last 12 months, ( 1/31/12 - 1/31/13 ), it will be closed beginning 2/25/13. One US Bank Visa debit or ATM card per customer, per checking account will remain open." They state they are doing this to help ensure that your accounts are secure.
