I was reading the thread just now from the beginning, unfortunately the signature ruins the excitement (as it showed from your first post that you got the BCP!)

Anyway, congratulations.  Even though the logic of the other posts is there, I am with you that applying for a card that you actually don't want seems strange.  Of course, had your app been denied, their logic would be even clearer!
