My AF was just due on my Cap1 card. So, I decided to pay it but use the chat and try a few things. Couldn't PC to the new Quick Silver card, couldn't get AF credited back, couldn't get the AF removed, couldn't get a CLI...couldn't get anything. I don't care enough about Cap1 to contact the EO so I redeemed my cash and closed the card. I no longer have anymore Cap1 cards and I feel good about it.

Their loss IMO
I appreciate that
Cap1 has been more annoying than normal latelty.
EO will change your mind!! Lol.
Good for you, IMHO. I wouldn't be dealing with them now if they hadn't bought out HSBC's cards. But I'm going to make the best of it for now and hoping they moved the old HSBC card into a Quicksilver.
Congrats! I too am done with Cap 1 just today!! Had 2 Orchard Cards that were converted to them that had $59 and $79 annual fees, cancelled them a few months ago right before AF hit. Then had 1 remaining card with them, $19 AF. Wanted to keep it, put in for CLI from only a $300 limit. Declined. Applied for Chase Freedom and Chase Sapphire Preferred, approved for $5,000 and $6,200. Got on chat with Cap 1 and cancelled my last Cap 1 card, felt good!
