They seem to be pretty random. They won't budge for me and decided my last payment needed to 'float' (that was the world that the agent kept using, what they really mean is they're holding it for 12 days for some random unknown reason - I've NEVER had a payment decline and I've NEVER been late but I guess since it's the biggest payment I've made in one swoop they decided to hold it anyway even though it came out of my bank account over a week ago...).
I've liked FH so far but I'm a little irritated with them right now, as obvious. Heh.

I opened my fingerhut account in November with a $500 limit. About two weeks later after my first purchase I got a $500 CLI to $1000. That was in mid November. Am I going to get another one anytime soon? I've made two more purchases for about $300 total and only have a 30$ balance right now.
When did you get your fingerhut CLIs?
Fingerhut was one of my first accounts after starting my rebuilding. I made a purchase of something random, xbox game maybe. I just wanted to get the ball rolling. I paid off the bill right away. About a month later they doubled my credit line. That was over a year ago, no CLI like has been given since then. They did however, give me a CLI and said I must make a purchase to keep it. It was a random amount, something like 826 dollars. I overpaid for something else to keep the increase. I won't be doing that again. They are so overpriced, but they do report so it helps if you are just starting the journey.
