Re: Finishing up my portfolio

If I recall correctly- I saw a post to check my junk email, found the email from them there.

Printed and filled out the app, scanned a paystub and emailed it back to her. I followed up with a phone call to them the next day-

I have 7 EX inq's in the last year- so I completly understand-(2 from last week) they start droping from my scoring in June.

that's great Tim--I know you have a cccu and told me it took 2-1/2 weeks. Did you get their response by mail? I really want it so i can get rid of two high interest ccs. hsbc is one. I've been with them over 4 years and they will not give me cli or lower horrible rate.
I can't stand any more inqs from ex so i guess trying for an amex is out of the question????

Holy *&!@ Amex approved my Green - Unbelievable.

Always wanted an "Other" section on my Credit Report.

Congrats Timothy. You worked with me through my two amex apps and I tried to get you to get a green card then but I am glad that everything worked out for you. I love using my green and I use it ALL the time especially this time of year.

Re: Finishing up my portfolio

I called them and they said everything is done by mail.  I hope this is not a bad sign.  It has been over a week.

Re: Finishing up my portfolio

thanks tim.  now what do you think about closing out high interest accounts.  CCCU will give me 7 open and eight closed.  I hate HSBC and have low limit with terribly high interest.  I've been with them four years though.  Should i just sock drawer them?  If i close I will still be getting age, right?

Re: Finishing up my portfolio

My 2 HSBC accounts AF was not going to kick in until May -
So I was going to wait until then to close-

I spoke with household Bank- and these accounts are not going to do anything-ever.
I started looking at them as a sore thumb on my report and they were not doing anything to help my report- so I closed them.

SD them for a few months- wait for the dust to settle with your new account and close them- unless your AF is going to hit, then close sooner.

Re: Finishing up my portfolio

i had closed orchard because of af but hsbc has no af just high high interest.  i will sock drawer for awhile.  THANKS!!!
I practically had to give up my first born for 500 cli and then socked me with the high interest and a hard inq.  They are absolutely the worst.
orchard at least gave cli's.
