First Progress secured card. Hard pull?

I've read somewhere don't remeber where that they don't do a hard inquiry when you apply for their secured card.  May anyone with their card confirm this?  If so which CRA do they use?

No, First Progress doesn't report as secured card.  I don't have the card. My borther has it.  He has had the card for over six months. He didn't have any problem using his card.  It reported to 3 CRAs monthly.

This card seems to be one of the better secured cards.

Re: First Progress secured card. Hard pull?

How easy is it to increase limit?  I read in their terms that you need to be approved to increase limit.

"You may add funds to the Deposit Account only with our approval. If we approve such addition of funds, they must be mailed to us using a paper check at the address we specify at the time of approval. You are not permitted to initiate electronic transfers to or from the Deposit Account."

Is this true?  Seems like a hassle.  I prefer to increase limit with my bank account online.

Re: First Progress secured card. Hard pull?

From what I understand the PNC card does report as secured on CR, but I know for a fact that Cap1 does not.
