So I was pre-approved for a First Savings Credit Card -- they didn't tell me what the limit was but received it today. I got a whopping (yes, sarcasm) 350.00 CL (don't worry, won't spend it all in one place!)
I can't find much information on this card -- is it worth keeping and growing? Can I recon the initial CL? Do they charge for CLI's like some of these other bottom-feeder cards (cough, First Premier, cough)?
Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom.

My brother got one. It will grow. Expensive to keep.
Ron.
+1. Used as a stepping stone until you can get something better.
Thanks -- I haven't been able to find much information on them at all. I did call in today and talked to a manager to try to recon the starting credit limit. I don't think I will get anywhere...
However -- for others who may not know anything about First Savings:
They certainly are not a prime card -- but they are at least reasonable in terms of their policies and when you call, you talk to live human beings who are not in some off-shore call center. They definitely sound like a much better option than the First Premiers of the world!
