So i put a fraud alert on myself and was wondering how it works? Such as:

1. What happens if i apply for a new card?

2. Does an inquiry show up on my report if im not the one applying for the card, in other words ID theft?

3. Can i still be added as an AU or will they still call me?

If you apply for credit and in some cases CLI's, the lender should call to confirm its you. Make sure your CR's have your contact number as a way to verify all credit requests.
Lenders should contact you before processing an app. Operative word is 'should'
Yes, you can be added as an AU. Remember as an AU your CR's are not pulled.
