the thing is i didnt even use the card in FL i used it where i live and the places it was used it was a couple of miles from my house.... so it was scary
There are people that walk around with scanners and take the number while the card is in your wallet. I bought an RFID protected wallet just for this reason.
1. Do I need to notify police?
2. Does life lock work?
3. should i freeze all reports?
4. should i request no RFID card?
1. It wouldn't hurt but at this point as long as you got your money back from Chase and got a new card, with a new number, you should be okay.(I just went through this with Chase and so far not having any problems.
2. I've never used it.
3. Again, it couldn't hurt. Are you planning on looking for new credit anytime soon?
4. They have wallets, cases and paper sleeves for your cards that are designed to keep them from being scanned. Go to Amazon and search RFID blocking and see what comes up.

I would do this. I can't think of a more useless feature than this.
