Re: Freedom denied, City Forward Denied, Discover More Approved, AMEX Zync Approved

Update:  Navy Federal just called.  They wanted to verify my mortgage payment since I just put down my half instead of what the credit bureau says.  Lady says I should have an answer within the next 24 hours.  I will keep you posted.

Re: Freedom denied, City Forward Denied, Discover More Approved, AMEX Zync Approved

I was approved for $2000!  My first order of business is to pay off my 2 First Premiers and my Orchard via balance transfers.  That is going to save me $65 (minimum) a month, which I can put towards another card.  Might even close my new Zync card now.

Oh Yeahh my updated FAKOs are 612 (Both Exp & Equifax) & 656 TU...

I would not close Zync, that is your in with AMEX.  AMEX is a strange bird, they rely heavily on their in house info on future approvals.  Keep in their good graces and you can see some very nice cards in your future.

MTVA, congrats on your approval; now get your UTI down under 10% by JAN 13 (yeah I know its christmas, but it's up to you to get the score UP).  Good plan to pay the other cards off, in my opinion you really don't need to app for any more cards...just work on getting your UTI down and your jump up more. GL on your journey to the 800's!
